One thing is very clear with this program: the future is incredibly bright.

We finally have quality depth and are getting our backups critical game experience. That is why Bama is so good every year---depth and effective backup experience.

We finally have a team with quality depth who can go 2-3 deep and still play at a high level. In the Dooley years and Butch's first few, losing our starters lead to utter blowouts. We had no one after the starters. But those dark days are over.

I'm excited to see how our young players like John Kelly have performed and can't wait to see the heights our program will achieve in these next few years.

Go Vols. Beat Bama.

Bazinga. Good post. Not just Kelly, but Jennings is a straight dog that will dominate in coming years. And Watching Warrior getting hyped after he was ejected. You felt like he was about to rip someone's throat out. This team is starting to be littered with these guys that are tough as nails. The culture has changed. Whether or not you think Butch Jones is the man long term to lead the program into the promised land, it is clear that he is just what this program needed when he took the job.

Especially when we get a QB behind center who can throw.

I love Dobbs, but he's just not a good passer.

Warrior is going to be one of my favorite players. Kid is going to be a beast.

Didn't he have nearly 400 yds passing?

And 2 INTs (8 in 5 games now, more than he's ever thrown in a season)....and 2 fumbles he should have recovered instead of trying to pick up. But hey, my bad.

Oh, and his completion % is the lowest its been in his career as well.

I love Dobbs and how he pours out his heart for this team. That being said, I HATE that many times in the game our best leader turns into our worst enemy with his turnovers. Regardless of 398 passing yards, the 4 turnovers are killer.

You act as if I said he sucks lol. He's a good QB, just not great.

You act as if another qb on our roster could lead our team better. The truth is Dobbs is the best for us and has done a great job. He made some bad mistakes but we have put a ton on his shoulders. We depend on him every week to make great plays to get this team rolling. Not to mention he is a class act that deserves respect. I have been critical of him but you can't deny the fact that our passing game has improved.

Where have I ever called for a different QB than Dobbs at all this season?

Dobbs is great at times and has won a number of games for us that most QB wouldn't have. And then at other times he can't make the throws we need.
We may have the next tom Brady on the bench but you will never know or see him on the field unless Dobbs graduates or gets hurt .

At times I wonder if he shouldn't be in the game over Abernathy. It's similar to the Kirkland and jumper situation last year. Warrior is going to be a stud

You can point to many situation where you wonder why one appears to be so much better yet the other gets equal time, or where they appear to be equal yet one gets so much more (Hurd ,Kamara) or someone only gets on the field because of injury and plays great. It's a jones trend

Are you kidding me? Dude just had 500 yards of total offense, and has bailed us out time after time with his legs and play making ability. I agree Dormandy could possibly be a better passer but he cannot make plays with his feet the way Dobbs does. And let's not even go there with the dropped passes.

We need a true dual threat to replace Dobbs after he's gone, not just a passer like alot say play dormady, to me it would be another Justin Worley situation, but maybe dormady has decent speed, be a good qb battle next yr.

I wish Dobbs learns to fall on the ball and not try to make a play every single time. Live today to fight another day. That being said, I wouldn't want any one of else leading this team. He is a true warrior.
