I have to be honest and say I thought about tonight the future of UT Football and the level of football that was played in the 1st half.

The future is bright and with the amount of young players you have and how they played in the first half says a lot. Not to mention the loss of your starting QB and WR play maker.

Many people were sweating bullets and rightfully so! Score didn't represent the way this came could have went.

I wish you the best in the remainder of the season and may God bless you all as you bless Him.

It's not the end of the world to get blasted by Bama with a backup qb. Believe me, I know.
The level of negativity here is off the chart.

Thanks. I hope you're correct but the jury is certainly deliberating.

Good luck on the rest of the season.

on being positive, when Dooley actually wins a game against a good SEC team with a winning record.

When that happens, I'll start being positive. Until then, he stinks.

You and the bammer were lucky this year that the Bray/Hunter tandem was not available. Both scores would look entirely different.

I bet you were all for him in the first half????

It's hard to win with young players and back ups in the skilled position.

Classy post and I thank you for that. We knew next year was to be the year we should look forward to....and I think believe that. Thanks and Go Vols.

Thanks for the words, Rev and Gator...we just can't compete at the top SEC level and that ain't gonna be fixed anytime soon...it's just a sad fact.

I fail to understand how vol fans don't see the promising season ahead next year.

No way anybody is going to convince someone who is always negative unless things go there way to be any different. It's just how they are and how they were brought up. They're the kind of people that only attract their kind of people. It's that simple. I personally love to see them crying and pouting and complaining. Helps me to stand clear.

The Florida game would have definitely been different. I still think we would have won that game if Hunter had not gone down so early. As far as the Bama game, we would have still lost probably. We would have scored more points that we did, and it would have been closer, but I think they would have eventually worn our defense down the same way they did tonight. Definitely would have been closer though.

Case and point here on this one. Look at where the location he is from and it tells you his attitude sucks. You don't know squat about football chief.

we will see champ, but so far and pretty sure into the future dooley will prove me right.
