The Florida situation is kinda funny

I mean we were winning last year until we knocked out Driskel.

This year he gets pulled and the back up QB comes in down 9-0 and precedes to score 10 unanswered points on us and wins in a trash fest 10-9.

Now he's suspended for the remainder of the year.

Driskel is back and they will probably lose every SEC game the rest of the way and finish with us being one of their only two SEC wins.

We will then finish with an overall win record of 5 and miss a bowl because we got outcoached and beat by the backup Florida QB again...just like last year.

I am mean you can't write this kind of stuff.

nevermind....

but yea...it's how it is as a VOL fan and IMO it makes winning that much sweeter.

florida. That's the problem. I'm not into the sweet feeling that comes with winning a big SEC game once a decade.

Forgot what that tastes like its been so long.

I'm talking about relevant programs we actually beat every once in a while...

Did he not get hurt on his first pass attempt last year and we took it to the house?

I get what you're saying but it's not like we had the lead late in the third quarter like '12 and '14.

What is sickening is that FL is so bad they will still probably fire their coach, yet we still can't beat them. Being good enough to beat us a decade straight is just good enough to get you @#$# canned at Florida lol.

Florida could actually go 1-11 and that win would always be against us. Every. Time.
