Evan Berry ran a 10.81 in the track and field GA Class 5A finals. No one, not even in 6A, ran a faster time.

I would LOVE to see the ball in this kid's hands on kickoffs Saturday.

DY put in on the ground last game though. Why not give Evan a shot? I'm not jumping all over Butch. He must see something we don't. Personally, I'd like to see true track AND football speed in Evan back there fielding kicks.

Evan has had plenty of shots and the coaches still go with Devrin. I would love to have someone back there averaging forty yards a return. Maybe they're just opting for reliability.
It's not that simple if he fumbles and it leads to points.
Do you want a true freshman returning kicks for the first time in our first SEC game at Sanford?
I just don't think you experiment during the game.
I would be all for having Evan returning against UTC.
Finally, regardless of who's back there, you have to have better blocking.

hell no. Run it out. This is football, not kneeball. Let his foots do the talking. Can't break one if your kneeling. DY needs to house one. Preferably this weekend.

Foreman ran a 10.6 100 meters as a jr in high school and was a good fball player so not sure why he doesn't get a shot at returning kicks. Maybe he fumbles in practice and CBJ has said often that this team isn't good enough to overcome turnovers on kickoffs.

DY is an odd case. He looked very fast returning kicks early on in his career, but his burst just doesn't seem to quite be there now.

bringing the ball out 5 yards deep in the end zone isn't helping either.
