After NC State it was everyone loves Dooley we will win the east. Now it's everyone hates Dooley who will be the next coach. Seriously guys come on we have a great shot at beating everyone besides Bama. Last night hurts but no reason not to be rational about this. Dooleys staying it's time to back our coach and our team

I agree.... I have already said that I can't blame the fans for leaving early last night, but the fans are quitting just like the team did. Dont act like youre all high and mighty when youre quitting too. Lots of pot calling the kettle black today.

We have no shot. We lost by a smaller margin last year. I would have never thought that was going to happen. Dodo needs to be fired. I do like him but he isn't cut out for this job.

Dooley has a lot of opportunities to prove himself coming up:

after Akron: at No. 5, bye, at No. 23, No. 1 at home, at No. 7.

There is still a lot of season left. YES.. Loosing to Florida 8 years straight hurts badly. Get off the "he's to blame" train and lets focus on next week. We have some great games coming up after Akron with Georgia, MSU, BAMA and USCjr.

My wife surprised be before the game last night with 8th row tickets to UT vs Bama and you can bet that I am still as excited today with one loss as I was when we were 2-0 yesterday.

The players will be looking to the fan base to help them bounce back and get back to what matters and that is preparation. So if you consider yourself a VOL fan, then quit your B**ching and get back to supporting this team when they need us the most!!

If we beat Miss State, UGA, and USCe all of the Dooley haters will be kissing his @$$ that's just how irrational fans are, especially ours as of late.

What was CPF's record against UF? He also had much more talented teams than UF and still couldn't beat them. We are not more talented than UF and haven't been since Dooley has been here. They have better OL and DL, LB's, ST's, and overall team speed.

Bingo ! Sums it up well. We have no shot against UGA, Bama, or USC and we may get beat by Miss. St., Mizzou, and Vandy. That simply is unacceptable, PERIOD !!!

I have to agree with you on this. Although, I was frustrated, heartbroken, and was left worrying about the rest of the season, I did not leave until after the game ended.

We are teetering on the edge of not being able to financially weather this ongoing storm. The program will fail if we continue to lose the fan base, and leaving the game early sends the wrong message.

Nope disagree. I was more disappointed with the fans leaving early. That was classless,i've attended losing games in the past and stayed no matter how bad it was. You think at the end or near end players look up and see the fans gave up and left is good for morale? Some of you need to pull out websters and look up the definition of "fan". Cause some of you aren't fans.

Whatever, we are the best darn fans around! We have endured turmoil and crappy teams and are still passionate, interested fans. Miami(FL) had 300 people at their game this week. ONLY 300 FANS!!

Tennessee's fans are absolutely not the problem. Even though we suck, I continue to go watch our team get trounced by every good team we play. I rent PPV for crappy games if I cannot attend and sort through all the Bama swag to find the sparse Tennessee gear for my kids. This is not a fan problem.

And expecting a guy that has the knack for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory every place he's been a HC some in astounding fashion and has had his team lay down on him in the face of adversity multiple times to become a HoF coach is your model of rational? My God, some of you folks wouldn't know competence if it kicked you in the nuts.

id say 80% of this board thought yall were more talented before the game

thought bray would light up our midget DB's like we was nc st

you guys still got a good team still got JH and CP and could still beat USC/UGA and get the dooley bandwagon going again

bray needs to stop hangin his frickiin head tho when he gets down a TD thats not a good look especially with JH and CP as his WR's

You have delusions of grandeur. Fans leaving a game early is the least of our problems.

Remember back a few weeks ago when several were saying Dooley would get an extension this year? Ah, those were the days.

I remember living in K town in the late 90's when things were great and you would still hear TN fans on the radio always griping about things. This fan base is straight up the most whiney cry baby base. Even when things are great, you find reasons to harp on the coach. Hated Majors and Fulmer ect. Give this guy four year atleast and live with it.

I am not sure he is going to get this done and I was there and saw this team quit and be gassed ect. But the leader, Tyler Bray flat out gave up. He was a three star and still have progression and read problems and horrible footwork.

I would hope Dooley would recruit guys who would not quit. I hope Worley and Petersen have more leadership in them than Bray. Oh, Bray was a Kiffen recruit and I am questioning his leadership. Things go great and he flies high. But when not, see last night and Kentucky game last year. Bray = Kiffen recruit and best option we have = a long way to go to be a good NFL QB = the positon requires more than a good arm = trouble winning when team get down. Not a leader when the going gets tough. JMO and I got so sick of him last night.

Also, I did not leave until the kneel down after the guy was called out of bounds. Did not see the last 20 seconds.
