It would have still been a mess under Schiano. Had he been hired without the speculation about Penn State, it would have gotten through the grape vine soon after his press conference. And people would have reacted the same. But had that Penn State stuff never happened, I am yet to see him as a competent head coach just based on his resume. I don't know if he would have left a lesser mess or a bigger mess? Who cares right now? I am over living in the past. Bring on the future.
