The fan who ran onto the field during the rain delay

Protect yourself and others. INCLUDING the guy running on the field. What if he ran into a wall and smashed his face?! What if he had a knife, gun, explosives?? You don't know! Im not going to debate the Use of Force and it's continuum. I taught it for 22 years. Cops aren't taught to tackle either, But 99/100 would've tackled that guy.

Lol

You aren't the only one that taught a use of force continuum.

I wish this world wasn't so politically correct. Gosh I wish this world wasn't so politically correct. People are pansies. He broke the law. He should pay for it. Situation is over.

That guy who ran out there could sue that security guard and probably win. The use of force by the guard is not commensurate with the infraction. No one was in immediate physical danger of that guy running on the field. The use of force by the guard was unnecessary, excessive and unwarranted.

It was awesome to see...just sayin'. You know how people are in this litigious society we live in.

It could easily be argued in court that the security guard could have easily stopped the guy without using that kind of force and that he should have at least tried.

Should've tased him then.:crazy::crazy:

This is the trouble with today's "Youts":
--Drunken idiot runs onto the field looking for attention
--Security contains the idiot and takes him into custody
--The idiot wasn't shot, wasn't mistreated. He got what he deserved.
--Some take the idiot's side and try to justify his stupid actions
--Others attack the security who are in place to serve and protect the public from idiots
--Other idiots scream the original idiot should sue security for protecting the public
