The fact that Arch Manning is not even visiting UT...

I just figured he'd go to a program that runs a pro style offense. That isn't UT, Ole Miss or Alabama at the moment.

Actually, no it doesn't.

All it really shows is you have taken a data point and used it to justify your own biases and projections. Only Arch and his family are privy to his reason behind his recruitment. There is no guarantee Arch would come here even if we were Bama-level dominant.

Were I Arch, I wouldn't want to follow a legend family member to a school at which he is revered. I would want to blaze my own trail. Create my own legacy. Become revered on my own terms.
OHHHH, You mean go to Mississippi State?

I think he wants to make his own way. He would be judged against uncle Peyton here. I see him landing at Georgia but who knows?

He’s got a family full of qb experts to help guide him. I’m sure they are looking at who can develop a qb and who has a top shelf line.

I’d like to have him but not sure he fits what we’re trying to do either.

I hope he lands outside the sec but odds are he won’t.

He’s going to be judged against his uncleS and grandpa no matter his destination.

Gross. Has anyone else squandered or mismanaged the QB position as much as Kirby the past 4 or 5 years?

Agree. Interesting that Georgia is a top choice. You would think that Kirby shuffling QBs around so much, sending talented QBs away, etc would be a red flag. Sorry to say I don’t even know who their OC is. Maybe he’s someone QBs want to play for. Can’t imagine the Manning’s are great friends with a guy like Kirby with the personality of a rock.

Not only do the Manning’s have a history at Ole Miss, but Kiffin, whether you like him or not is an offensive minded coach and has had success developing QBs. I wonder if the Manning’s like him? A few years ago they asked Peyton if he had ever met Kiffen and he said “No and if I ever do, it will be a very short conversation”. This wasn’t too long after Kiffin bolted and Peyton made it clear that he wasn’t pleased. Also said TN is destination school, not a stepping stone. I imagine their relationship has gotten better over the years but I’m guessing they still aren’t close. Cooper, on the other hand might be fine with him.

UT is not even a school that Arch Manning is considering...He is not even visiting UT. I think this shows where we are as a program.
No it doesn't. Peyton went to UT in part because he didn't want to be in his dad's shadow at OM.

Players have a lot of reasons for why they choose what they choose. Does winning help with many players? Yes. But it isn't the only factor since most recruits of his caliber think they can make anyone recruiting them a winner.

Arch doesn’t fit this system. He isn’t going to a school that doesn’t fit his skills and Josh isn’t going to reinvent the O to accommodate him (he’s not his uncles or grandfather)

Nor is Arch going to a school not stacked with top OL, WR, and RB.

Arch Manning is still strongly considering Ole Miss, isn't he? Tennessee's talent level is definitely comparable to theirs.
