The "f-bomb"...wow

I get it. I get that you think our student section is disrespectful. But what you don't get is that we're going to continue to do that as long as our team can't win a game.

Cuss the other team? That is the answer huh? Starting to see how stupid it is yet?

Well I'd rather cuss the other team than my own, even though ours deserves it right now. Were you at the game?

Nope.....my son had a game on Sat......I gave my terrace seats to a client. He got back home and said thanks but he would not be taking his family to another UT game.
So.....you feel better about your decisions now?

I don't make decisions off of how it's going to effect you, my friend. I participated in the chant because the guy that started the whole ordeal deserved it. I also had a friend with me that was a Bammer fan. He was wearing a jersey and everything, but he didn't get yelled at because he was respectful enough to just watch the game. The guy deserved what he got.

Great thing to be proud of there big guy.

I just don't understand how you think it would have been a great idea for the guy to be found "in a pile of blood" later, but a verbal cussing was just classless....

They have not taught sarcasm in any of your classes yet? It illustrates the mentality of a classless fan.
You said that you "get it", all evidence to the contrary.

No one is going to tell me what to say or not say at the games- they don't make our donation or our decisions... We show respect to those around us but if you bring your little kids, that's your problem... It's a college football game, maybe they should have sections for those that are offended, want to sit like knots on a log the entire game, give those around them the look for yelling & pulling our team on... Two ladies down from us in the Terrace gave me that go to hell look cause we were almost standing on top the seats when we were on defense.. next time I'll tell them to take a picture it will last longer.. all of them sat there like a bag of hammers... I won't cowl down to someone that only comes to one game every 10 yrs... you pay our donation and we might talk or else shut up... We've got the best students around.. at least they get involved in the game...
Up yours fugly bamma...

our student body is a disgrace. remember how we were still trying to sell tickets to the students for the florida game right down to the wire, because the students just don't want to come to the games. I'm a 17 year old in high school, applying to UT, and I say let me in to UT, I'll be the loudest kid there!!

sadly, the lack of faith in our football team from the students sure doesn't help at all to the "culture" of Tennessee football.

I hope that wasn't directed towards me. Ive missed 3 games total since I've been here (home and away) including last years bowl game. I don't miss these games. I support with all my heart, and I will root for my team in the manner I choose, which might involve the "f-bomb"

I am neither bothered, nor surprised by this (nor would I participate). If I had my kid there I wouldn't necessarily like it, but I wouldn't get all worked up about it. Move along.

and by doing that you are infringing on others enjoyment (and it's against Neyland rules). But as shown by the rest of your posts I'm sure you couldn't care less about anyone else in the stadium

Oh How sorry I am........... boo hoo hoo.... :cray::birgits_giggle:

why are certain combinations of letters in the English language considered bad and others considered good? Who makes these rules?

oh people are cussing at football games! Oh noes! I see the 4 horsemen on the horizon. Buncha crybabies

I find this funny coming from a guy that gave someone grief for wanting to wear an orange bodysuit to a game.

That was a grown man saying he was going to wear a body suit. The student section is a bunch of kids having fun. Don't you think it's a little wierd if you're sitting wit your family at the game and there's a guy in a full body suit in your section? I might understand it in the student section, although I would never do it.

Yes it's crude and rude, but nothing new. I was a UT student in the 1960s. The common chant heard when Johnny Vaught's Rebels came to Neyland was, Go to h--- Ole Miss, go to h---!
