Actually, its PMS151 on the Pantone system. Easy to remember because of the '51 National Championship. PMS 021 is just a shade darker.

If I had to guess, Florida's colors are the result of a trip to New Orleans and a visit to one of the all male revue bars.

Alabama was originally going for all white since they knew they would always be holier than thou in their recruiting but admired the two color scheme after a severe catchup spill on their robes after a rally.

there is another name.. its "soemthing" 151... not pms though it came in the paper.. thats what i was looking for.. anybody remember what im talkin about?
