The Everything Fantasy Football Thread

they're looking for any sort of glimmer and Orton is their scape goat. I noticed alot of what he (Tebow) was running was the same as what he did at UF. That might work this year but NFL are smart enough they will figure a way to stop that.

I watched the game and he energized the crowd and team. He isn't a very good NFL quarterback, but he's hell on wheels in fantasy football.

so my only question this week is Owen Daniels (current starter) vs Tony Gonzalez. Not sure I can go wrong with either but Houston is playing the Ravens

Alright peeps what do you all think about this trade I just offered? I thought it was fair for both sides because I'm in desperate need of RB help and this guy needs a QB and has a plethora of RBs (ps I also have Cam Newton, who has been just as productive as Brady, fantasy wise)....

Send:
Tom Brady
Rashard Mendenhall
Tim Hightower
Plaxico Burress

Receive:
Beanie Wells
Jahvid Best
Robert Meachem

What RBs does he have?

I have Best and Wells and they have been good producers. However you're basically giving up Brady for Newton which is not a risk I would make.

I really hate to give him up, but my team just does not score a lot of points due to injury and just overall bad play this year (Mendenhall and Santonio Holmes). I only scored 54 points last week and a lot of my roster is made up of waiver claims...

I'm overloaded with qb's and need a receiver. Got Michael vick, Ben roethlisberger, Eli Manning and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Who should I offer up?

I think after the week Big Ben had you should try to get something really solid for him, as he's not typically all that great of a fantasy QB.

Fitzpatrick may be headed downhill, too.

that's a lot of qb's. I only have Rodgers and Stafford. My first choice on your list would be Fitz and then Ben. Just not sold on the Steelers being back yet although all have some weeks they may score big

Sell on Fitz if you can. Not as big a name though so idk what you'd get for him. Just go for a starting wideout on a fantasy team with a bad QB. Hopefully there's someone in your league starting Kolb or something.

And to TTT, now isn't really a good time to try to trade Mendenhall because his value is pretty much at the lowest point it will be all season, short of a more serious injury later. But if you truly think your situation is desperate, then go for it.

No, but there are a few guys with only one qb. Trying to offer either in a package. They're both worthy backups IMO

Mendenhall has been a total bust all season. If somebody wanted to give me something remotely respectable for him at this point I would jump on it. I'm sick of holding onto like 5 guys hoping they all take off.

I've got Chris Johnson, Rashard Mendenhall and DeAngelo Williams. All three were big names in the preseason and have been consistent single digit fantasy scorers...

It's killing my team. Hell, Roddy White, too. He's been a little better, but still well below his potential.

I saved my own ass by drafting Cam Newton as a joke for the last pick. He was to back up Peyton Manning and Cassel...

Yes, he's healthy.

I think I started Torain in his place. Any word yet on who the starting RB in washington is today?

Tomlin said they would "monitor his workload." Mendenhall, that is.
