Curses.

I thought for sure he was about to warp that train.

I'm not even trying to figure this out anymore.

I thought it was gone for sure.

As this story develops I wonder what other projects that these visitors have steered or manipulated our Science and Technology towards. All of it.... I mean the Manhattan project. At some point they will they have Bill Gates guest staring?

Bill Gates is one of them. They shot JFK. I kid, I kid.

I wondered that last night too. And I keep expecting Area 51 to be drug into this somehow eventually, but when they do I hope they do it in an out-of-the box way.

I'm also thinking I am focusing on too many details, like when Sophia looked at the sun last night. I want to think that's something major when in reality it's probably the first time she's seen it in 66 years.

i was waiting for something to happen as Sophie boarded the train... this episode really didn't end with any feeling of closure. i thought Sean getting Leila back was too easy.

The one thing that I caught in this episode that got my ole theory meter clicking into high gear was that "where I come from there isn't any water". By whatever reasoning that is the home-run ball as to "why" they are here. Either by the thinking that we ran out at some point and have come back to fix things or a totally similar alien society developed on a world without water which is not probable or that they just ran out on there world.

I felt like the revealing of them being aliens was a little over exaggerated. Did anyone have any doubt before then?

We knew they were aliens, but where are they from and what are their motives? They crashed landed on Earth, but was Earth their destination? I'm interested in these aliens.

20 minutes into it and this episode is lacking.

And Warren Buffett made his billions because of alien advice. Wow.....

Couple of interesting "well, huhs" in this though. Here I thought Thomas and Sophia were husband/wife.....

The Sean/Leila script is very poorly written. Could be a great story, but the scene to scene writing is terrible.

By George they left you with a WTH scene though. A nice bit of disturbingness in that final scene.

I was going to post something similar, but that seems to sum it up nicely.

I will add that the back-story about Sterling was good.

It was good. Other than the actual writing of some of the scenes involving Sean/Leila, I really don't have any complaints about this show at all. The overall story is very good.

To be a new show working out it's growing pains, even the writers will have them, everything about this show is entertaining.

The interference in the Sciences, technology story line looks like it will be developed overtime? There are a lot of people, conspiracy theorist, ancient alien theorist and those who beleive the government is, starting a generation or so ago, easing our society into realization and acceptiance that we are not alone. Through shows and documentaries, movies and the like. Who beleive this to be the case in fact....

even though I love a good conspiracy theory, I hate to admit it but I believe this. I had this thought a while back, not just with alien movies either.... I feel like any movie dealing with catastrophes and the like are the governments way of prepping us for what's coming.

That was a WTH ending....This is a good show that keeps me guessing. I really have no idea what's to come. It's been confirmed that the actual "Event" will happen at the end of the season. There definitely could be some better writing here an there but I'm excited to see where this show is headed.

Sadly, this shows ratings have really dropped. I'm happy that it got picked up for a full season, but if the ratings continue to drop it won't see a second. Hopefully the actual "Event" will spark peoples interest to watch towards the end.

New Theory -

The event is nuclear war so they can produce enough evergy to warp to get home.
