Aww. I can almost hear my Mom telling me when she looked at a really small team when I played Bantam football......."Bless their hearts. Don't hurt anybody out there, baby....."

Good for BG, though. A cool $1M and hopefully no one gets to meet the fine trauma staff at UT Medical Center.
If memory serves me, which it doesn’t do such a great job anymore, didn’t we overlook a team to open up the season recently. The Vols better come out expecting to fight, they have not proven to be better than anyone as of late. Logic says we will win however, Lady Luck seems to always go against us.

I, personally, have the luxury of overlooking BG.

This is Coach Josh Heupel's SEC head coaching debut. He's not overlooking BG. He's going to want this one to go well, very well, because it sets the tone of the "Heupel Era."

I expect to see Heupel have the team well prepared for whatever BG brings at them. Execution might be a problem for the Vols but preparation won't be.

True, as they are much too busy, along with their National Guard counterparts, treating covid at UT!

"We're a young team, lots of young guys out here playing young in front of a real crowd for the first time.... Did I mention we're a young team?"

Already preparing for the post-game presser...
