Since visiting the Football Forum is causing me headaches, I'd like to know what my fellow Zoners, (people whose opinions I greatly value), think of the following...

Heistand is going to be fired

Chaney is going to be fired

Dooley is going to be fired

Wilcox is going to UCLA as a DC for Peterson

Wilcox is gone and Sirmon's going with him

What say you?

It's really too early to tell and everyone that claims to know is probably lying.

Let's talk about some #realtalk...

Rumor...tvg is digging the vibe...

So no one wants to add their thoughts? I agree it's way too early, but I thought some might want to say if they believed it would happen - one way or another.

Not that anyone cares, but my answers would be:

Yes

Maybe - leaning towards yes

No

No

I hope not

I know many folks around here think Wilcox didn't do a good job but I disagree. He was handed short fields, and quick returns to the field time after time. I hope he hangs around.

I don't see Dooley being fired unless a prominent coach agrees to come behind closed doors first. No way he is fired then we go on a search and get turned down by 3 or 4 guys then settle for someone else again.

I really don't think anything of any of them. That's Drama Llama business. Got no time for that. When/If something is officially announced, then I may react. I expect anything, everything and/or nothing since 2008.:hi:

I believe Wilcox did a good job overall. In the second half of the season, especially, his group was on the field the majority of the time.

I think Chaney would be fired, if they weren't afraid of having to install an all new offense next year. Next year is "no excuse" year, so Dooley may not want to add that extra wrinkle to the equation. Obviously, something offensively needs to change.

Wilcox is the only one I don't have a problem with. The rest could go and I wouldn't care at all.

My blood pressure goes up when I discuss football with irrational people. I have had a few reprimands in the football forum defending coaches. Don't want to lose the few friends I have in here by getting riled up.

The irrational people are the ones that drive me bonkers. I thought we could discuss in a civil manner, amongst fellow Zoneheads.

Please, Newt, I'd love to hear your opinion...

The decisions are as much economic as anything. Dooley will stay. The only change I could envision would be with the offensive coaches. Something needs to be done with the kicking game.
