Section in the middle that is decorated with (I think) potato vines is the throw-erethang-on pile. On the right is mature compost that Hubs inexplicably covered with extra straw (“browns.”) Way on the left is a rando pile of grass clippings. Why isn’t it on the pile? I have no idea.

Never been banned from VN before. I am just a lurker who comments every now and then, maybe a little more frequently these days.

Used to hang more in the football forum, but backed off that a bit then moved to PF but that place is nuts. Good for a laugh, but discussions are mostly pointless it seems and just make me mad for one reason or another.

Welp, back into the shadows for me...

That is the same route I took when I first arrived on VN.

I still am amazed on a nearly-daily basis that the Zone is the most sensible sub-forum on VN.

Come back in football (and basketball and baseball) season for passionate but mostly rational game commentary*.

* ETA: pretty much only in these areas tho

Took down a dead dogwood today. ~10” in diameter at the base. The fungus introduced by the development behind me weakened it last year, and borers had gotten into it. Tough duty in the heat and humidity.
