Nope. Oklahoma, when he took that one hit toward the end. He looked dazed and stunned. Even the announcers commented on it.
One of my kids had post-concussion syndrome, and for about six months afterwards she just didn't look quite right. Timing a little off, a little hesitant.
Dobbs should start until the wild overthrows and turnovers pile up like last year. Then we'll all remember why Dobbs was replaced and howl for Worley - while demeaning Peterman.
At least Dobbs doesn't waste time before running.
I absolutely believe that Worley starts next week if healthy.
Apparently Butch said some stuff post game that supports this. I didn't hear it, so if any of you did maybe you can fill everyone in
Dobbs needs to start the rest of the season. He will be what we have next year, so we need to get him all of the game experience and reps we can get him. The fact that he can at least have a chance to outrun defenders burling after him is a plus. Worley, bless his soul, was essentially a sitting duck most of the time and he paid the price for it.
Still gotta go Worley if healthy, which from the vibes I'm picking up in the post-game is unlikely.
I agree Dobbs looked great tonight, but IIRC he came out looking extremely sharp last year against Bama too. This may sound like an overly-harsh truth, but there wasn't much pressure on this game. We were supposed to lose, and supposed to lose big. And I could be wrong, but I think I remember we were already losing big when Dobbs came in.
Dobbs fell apart last year when the pressure came late in the season. Granted his competition was stiff, but the whole season was riding on the Vandy game and Dobbs botched it, bad. If he can keep playing like he did tonight we're going 7-5, but I'll believe it when I see it.
