The drive-by post game handshake

Beamer was not interested in giving Kiffin the time of day! He'd just won his bowl game and his 6th 10 Win season. He was ready to get his trophy and celebrate with his players, and rightly so. There is no relationship between Kiffin and Beamer, there is no "See you next year" crap to be said. It was DONE. And OVER. They both knew it, and acted as such.

GET OVER IT PEOPLE! You're acting like a bunch of cry babies.

Good call, both looked like they had places they would rather be.

No disrespect there, just let me get to my peeps or press and make it real from there.

It was his decision rather he wants to suck up to Beamer or not,he didnt want to so he just gave him a quick hand shake and went on his way.I dont think Kiffin is going to put on a act to please a coach or fan of another team and thats one of the things i like about him.

Could not have said it any better.

Well, from the opponent's perspective, I didn't even bat an eye at the quick handshake, and I didn't think it was disrespectful toward Beamer. For one thing, Kiffin's had just watched his team self-destruct in the second half, giving up half as many sacks in one game as they had the entire season and giving up 20 unanswered points. He was probably a little hot under the collar. And there is zero history between Lane Kiffin and Frank Beamer. This might well be the one and only time those two coaches face each other their entire tenure.

Before I read this thread, the handshake that caught my attention was Lane making sure to shake Tyrod's hand as they passed on the field. I thought that was pretty classy, taking a moment to shake hands with our quarterback.

My opinion of Lane Kiffin remains unchanged: he's a little cocky, but welcome to the SEC...

I think we can go ahead and shut this thread down now.

I was watching with UGA and Auburn buddies. We all noticed it and thought it was pretty disrespectful of Kiffin. He's got a lot of growing up to do if he's going to be a successful NCAA HC, IMHO.
Maybe he should have ripped Beamer like Donnan ripped Fulmer for running up the score. Who cares!!! He will be successful as a NCAA HC. Then all the haters Can start their own chat board *****ing about Kiffin. Remember opinions are like a$$holes. Everybody has one and they all stink.

"The Paterfamilias" disagrees.

Did anyone notice how rude Coach Beamer was after the game? Coach Kiffin walked up and said "Good game." Coach Beamer just walked away.

What is the difference between that and the trash in here ripping Kiffin? Neither of them wanted to have a tea party at midfield. Surely you haters can find something better to rip Kiffin over. Maybe one of his shoes was untied or something...

ty...your team played a very good game.

He should of gave him a big HUG and said thanks form kicking our BUTT. I don't care he did what he did. I would of like for him to have gave him the number one finger from the side line!
