Sony Michel who Richt had starting over Chubb before Michel's injury and Chubb's freshman campaign had a 2015 season of 5.30 ypc and UGA's issues were not due to poor RB play. Likewise if one of our RBs were to be injured my expectation is Vol team 120 does not miss a beat and the next man up fulfills them and meets the team's needs. Team 120 is not a one trick pony.
I know, jinx this and voodoo that.
So how do we hold up as an offense if we lose Jalen to injury? How many games could it cost us? I hope and pray we don't have a Nick Chubb Event.
What's the effect Volnation?

While it is not a one trick pony, to think it does not miss a beat if Hurd goes down, is quite silly.
I think we miss his productivity and intangibles, but do I think we lose a first down if Hurd is out? No I do not, I think it's silly to start wringing hands, weeping, wailing, gnashing teeth, and wearing sack cloth if one player goes down on a multi talented and faceted team especially if it is all hypothetical.
He and Kamara are different type backs, neither has a ready replacement behind them. The workload that Kamara would have to take on would be one of the many troubling issues created if Hurd went down. To not understand Hurd's value is an astonishing feat.
I've coached and played on winless teams as well as teams that have gone undefeated and won championships at multiple sports during my time on this planet. To place the season and success of the entire 120 team especially at the collegiate level on one guy's shoulders is a major flaw you have and is an astonishing feat in and of itself.
