I know us not having anybody drafted was horrible and will get used against us in recruiting. But looking at the bright side, Just imagine if we get people drafted in next years draft we could use that for recruiting talking about the improvement our program has made over the course of one year. Just wanted to get you guys opinion on that ill hang up and listen.

There are I suppose ways to sugar coat it but at the end of the day the optics are terrible. Other coaches must be telling four and five star recruits that UT has had those over the last five years and has not put them in the league whereas some schools are putting former 3 stars there. So it's not good no matter how you look at it.

The SEC set a record with 64 players drafted, and ZERO came from the University of Tennessee.

The ONLY positive I took from Draft weekend is our HC, Jeremy Pruitt, had several kids at Alabama & Georgia drafted that he had a hand in recruiting/developing.

That's the only positive, IMO. We don't return 3 All Americans and a host of all conference guys where the "but look at what returns!" argument is relevant.

Bunch of talent poorly developed by Jones and his S&C guys. With proper weight room time and a good coach to develop them, Shy and Abernathy would’ve been drafted with Shy possibly being 1st/2nd round.

That track record was also achieved by an old coaching staff, none of whom are there anymore.

Here's a hypothetical. Let's say Trey Smith does not or cannot get drafted next year and UT goes 0 for the 2020 NFL draft. Does Butch get 100 % of the blame or does the current staff take a share of the blame for not developing players?

Come on man, you know that Pruitt and this staff can't be expected to have any impact what-so-ever on players that they didn't recruit.

Besides it's take at least two full calendar years in a program before any improvement in current-HC-recruited player abilities can be realized.

What's funny is how you think it's just YOU and one or two others that thinks that's stupid.

Eh, I dont really care if any of ourplayers get drafted. I just want them to play good while they are at TN.

Ummm they won’t play good here because there won’t be any good players here because they have gone to other SEC programs and expose our guys. The only exposure we got the other day was helping other teams players look good for their Draft highlight tape when their name was called.

Being a VFL is a great thing. Being a VFL and a millionaire at 21 is a better thing.

We need to put guys in the League.

Butch has been fired.

Pruitt is not being blamed for the lack of talent or development after one year. It doesn't have anything to do with UT as an athletic university regarding whether or not you can get to the league.

So many polarizing questions so early into the post spring practice off season...

Bitulli, Taylor, Calloway, Jennings will all get drafted

The Memphis Tigers are routinely having multiple players drafted lol. There is no way to spin this.

Because of course, no coach or coaching staff has ever had an impact on a roster before they've had at the very least 731 days with the players.
See. Obviously I'm not one of the one or two.
