The difference between ND and UT

Here's a couple of differences, we didn't get blown out by LSU and we didn't get blown out in our bowl game.
A loss is a loss. Any player will tell you the same. We had LSU beat and let them drive down the field and win it.

I'm not sure I'd call it gloating, but the scores are what they are.

Everyone on the board is acting like Penn State abused us like LSU did to Notre Dame and that's just not the case.

Then again, ND did publicly humiliate the Lions.

You must have missed the Hefney tirade (as Hefney walked past Fulmer to the sideline).

Tirade????

Did Hefney play any more after completely blowing him off? I thought Hefney made Fulmer look even more pathetic than usual and he got away with it. How many other coaches (winning type please) would have left it where Fulmer left it at that point?

The difference between ND and UT...is that they had three losses and beat penn state while we had four losses and lost to penn state.

wasn't a blowout, but no one was on the edge of their seat the final 2 minutes either.

Well, Fulmer did show emotion. I agree with what you are saying about it making Fulmer look as though he has no control over his players, I was justarguing the point made by the guy when he said that Fulmer showed no emotion. He did show emotion in that particular case, but all he did was bark (but no bite).

I'll tell ya this, if I were the head coach of a college football team and a player that screwed up like "Jon" did catching that kick on the 4 yard line walked past me while I was telling him about it I would have a handful of facemask. That simple...

Thanks for the lesson. A thought a loss was a tie.

I think we determined that wasn't Hef walking by Fulmer.

Sorry, I didn't know people had to be on the edge of their seats..

Notre Dame abused Penn State. We both lost to LSU. Advantage: ND.

First off, anuone who thinks Penn State abused UT is a fool. It was a very even game determined by turnovers. We got a fortunate bounce of the ball. :)

As for ND, yes they abused us. In all fairness, it was our second game, with a new QB and a brand new defensive backfield, and Quinn ate us up. If we played them later in the year, it might have been different. But we didn't, so we'll just leave it at they abused us...

That said, next year we get them at Beaver Stadium, with 108,000 rabid fans (sound familiar?) with an experienced QB and defense, while they are breaking new guys in. I'm looking forward to it. Paybacks are a be-yotch (I hope!!)

has anyone truly proved this? with a video still or something?

Well if it wasn't Hefney, then that makes it even worse... don't you think? and it raises more questions.
1. Who was he yelling at?
2. If hefney was out of view of the camera, then shouldn't he have still been approaching Fulmer instead of walking away from him?

I need some video...

Someone was saying that first player wasn't Hefney, Hefney followed a little later and got an earful. I really don't see how it matters either way..

I never said UT was abused by Penn State. Anyone who thinks I said that is a fool. I'm hoping you aren't one.

If I remember right, you were responding to someone who suggested that PSU abused UT. Again, I agree with you. Couldn't be farther from the truth.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

No no no, I said:
