If people don't like the things Disney says or does, they are free not to consume their products. Run the government well and let people choose how to live their own lives is what conservatives were once about. I don't need Ron or anyone else to protect me from things I find offensive.

If it comes down to Biden vs DeSantis (which looks less likely every day) I'll hold my nose and vote for Ron. The guy is just so unlikeable I can't see him making it the distance.

If a strip club let's in minors and has explicit content, they lose their alcohol license. Quit the hyperbole on the Keys going down. It's not drag shows. It's drag shows with explicit content with minors in attendance.

Can you point to a drag show that has lost the venue a license or has received kickback that was not aimed at children or had children present?

Nope, but if Desantis wants to be consistent, he could shut down at least two clubs on Duval Street in the Keys handing out flyers marketing drag shows in front of children, and at least one strip club doing the same for their brand of entertainment.

sure looks that way, but it's a looooong time until the election. I'm hoping someone not currently on the radar comes in and makes a run but that's highly unlikely.

Yeah all he had to do is STFU and let Trump flame out.

Now Trump has more than enough cannon fodder to chop him off at the knees publicly…and I’m here for all of it.

If kids are in the establishment for the show, then yes. He should. Drag is intentionally sexualized. For an audience without minors, that's fine. No one cares.

We go back every year for lobster season.

It’s definitely an adult playground, but that doesn’t keep parents from bringing small children.

Desantis could ban every t-shirt shop on Duval Street for distributing and selling obscene materials near minors.

Maybe that’s his next move.
