The Derek Dooley Show

I like what CDD says, the way he says it, and the passion he has for the game.

That said - I'm waiting to see if he is going to turn out to be the coach that leads us back to the top of the SEC or our version of Mike Shula.

Too soon to tell.

Perish the thought.

Dooley will get the job done. We just got exposed for what we are - a young thin roster with some great talent! Time will fix it if we can stay healthy! We have been fortunate so far except for the Achilles injuries and Jones. I like our chances against the Lizards this week. Our players will be pumped and Poole will slash and gash that defense. If Simms has a good day, we win!!

GO VOLS!!

Tough to rotate with Oregon constantly at the line of scrimmage. A better team made adjustments at the half and we became despondent. I was proud of the early effort. We will get better. A blow out by Florida and I will be ready for Bray to take us into the future. Win or Lose. For some I reason I didn't throw up over this loss like I did UCLA last year. Slept well Sat. night. I'm liking Dooley as our Coach.

That was exactly my response to this game versus both UCLA games. I was thrilled with the first 27 minutes and look forward to seeing how the team responds to Dooley and staff regarding their play, or lack of, in the 4th quarter.

I think we'll see a lot more comfortable Simms with Jones back at WR, but can't understand why there's not more balls going in Stocker's direction.

He's very different than Shula...whether that translates to more success or not who know yet, but I don't see any similarities, personality wise, with Shula.

We certainly have lack of depth, but I'm holding CDD and staff accountable for bringing the back ups along, to give the starters a rest.
