Holmes’ 51-page ruling essentially deems some DOJ accusations about Abrego Garcia to be overblown — built upon evidence with questionable reliability from a traffic stop, cooperators in the case providing information to law enforcement through hearsay, and a shaky theory of victimizing children in a human-smuggling operation when that has not been charged or proved by the DOJ, the judge wrote."

Looking more and more like the previous Federal Prosecutor who resigned over this did so for good reason. Politics not the proper application of the law.

Remember, the "crime" he committed was so heinous that the LEOs just let him drive away.

Also like I posted earlier in this thread he supposedly told THP they were heading back to Maryland from a job in St. Louis. So why were they in Tennessee?

The situation remains fluid, although Trump personally has a vested interest of course given his embarrassment here.

It appears that they’re going to keep him in custody a little bit longer while they determine whether or not he’ll be arrested by ICE when he’s released.

It’s a court order that he can never be detained by ICE in the future? The thing about Law both good in bad, is it’s all in the technicalities.. I bet they can pick him up.. I would just do it later in a sneak attack fashion.. he’s on the radar now with all the hullabaloo he’s not just going to be ignored now lol

Because dude is a liar. Supposedly, the van he was driving is registered to a person that's been busted in the past for trafficking illegals as well.

Im pretty sure that yes, barring an agreement between the parties or some sort of legal decree, Garcia can and will be deported if released.

My point was the charges against him appear to be politically motivated and unlikely to stick… so they’ll likely just deport him.

They let him go due to federal (FBI?) request by the former administration that was letting everybody go at the time.
