When my kids were in elementary school, my son’s teacher planned to show The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. A mom objected that it was Satanic (the witch part.) It’s Christian allegory, fir God’s sake, literally. She didn’t want ANY of the class to see it. After a lot of gentle education and then brisk negotiation, the class watched, and her son did something or other in the cafeteria.

And her son was the second-most obnoxious kid in that grade.

My sister used to be like that with her kids. When they were little, I used to take them to the new Disney movie every year. Then Hercules came out and she didn't want them seeing it because of "pagan gods".

Nah… I was busy getting scolded by a nitwit professor who doesn’t know her ****… and got bitter and hostile when we called her out in it… my whole class almost revolted tonight…. And we are all teachers…
