I've said in any earlier post we're going to find out CDD's worth by seeing how he coaches up mostly 3 and 4* players without many if any top shelf standouts. There is no doubt that next year and the year after that we do need to get some top players into the fold. I just don't understand why some people get so upset at this years recruiting class because I think its a good start considering what the coaches are up against. I do want the best players, but it is going to take awhile.

Your not going to win championships in the Sec when a majority of the players in your class are 3*. It won't happen.

last night I took the time to evaluated the top 50 players in 2007 according to rivals. My personal evaluation is 20 of those 50 are busts or at best very overrated. Two of those 20 happen to be Ben Martin and Chris Donald. If those two were healty, at UT and playing like 5 star players we would have one heck of a defense. A 5 star player playing like one makes the players around him much better, see Eric Berry and Janzen Jackson last year, being from the Philadelphia area I had the pleasure of watching the 2nd greatest vol of them all for yrs, Reggie White make Clyde Simmons an all pro, point being if Martin were a stud pass rusher, Walker would be that much better and we'd have something we havent had consistently in 10 years, a pass rush. Bottom line is we get our share of 4 and 5 star players (except 2008 which we are paying bigtime for now) but not as many as Florida, Bama, and Texas. Florida and Texas have all that in state talent, Bama cheats but the point is they miss a lot they just have more to miss with. That wont change anytime soon, just the facts.... we need better evaluation of talent and better luck with the guys we do get, if Rogers plays like a 5 star reciever next year, matched with Hunter we finally have some threats on offense ,long winded point being theres plenty of hit and miss with even 4 and 5 star players we've just done our share of missing, thats whats gotta change

How is this for a deep deep thought; Its not the stars who makes the player, its the player who makes the stars!!! ha! what! can your mind handle that!!!! What now! What Now!

And we watch the players on T.V.s comprised of plasma, which is the primary gas that stars are comprised of. So if the player makes the stars, therefore, they are directly responsible for the medium that we view them on.

I dig it!!

bryce brown was top player in country according to alot of polls and rankings a 5star but he wasnt as good as many past freshmen or backs in tennessee,s past .i would like to land another quality dt that can play early next year and a reciever
