The Dallas Cowboys football circus thread

SFO in 2021, 9 tackles + TFL
TAM and SFO in 2022, just 7 tackles but 2 TFL's, 3 QB hits, and 3 PD's.
GNB in 2023 - 3 tackles, 1 QB hit
So essentially, in 4 playoff games, when it matters most, 3 TFLs. That's worth 48 million per? Not to mention being average against the run, the podcast drama taking shots at the team, and if they did sign him, half of their cap space would go to 3 players. Not a winning combination.

Like I said, no denying his talent and he can definitely be a game wrecker, but it seems like by the time the playoffs roll around, his body is always shot.

He is who he is all the time, not what his stats say in 4 games. Cowboys won't make the playoffs now, so no need to worry about that.

I almost feel sorry for Cowboy fans. Didn’t seem like there was a whole lot of competition for his services. The timing sucked all around. I’m assuming once Moblongata got his deal, he kept it under wraps, putting Jerry on burn.

I read some comments from Micah's press conference after being traded. Suddenly his back is cured. He didn't think he would be traded.
Well, why did you request a trade then? Spoiled. Welcome to one of the smallest markets in all of sports. Micah craves attention. Not much going on up in Green Bay. Jerry called his bluff. I have no idea if it was the right thing or not. Time will tell. I am glad the whole crapshow is over. Maybe they will parlay those 4 first round picks the next 2 years into a great core. Maybe they will draft michigan d-linemen again.
Either way, let's play some football.

I hope he freezes his ass off in Green Bay.

I have no loyalty to the Cowboys or Packers but I think some of the negative reaction by the sports media is because it involves the Cowboys and Jerry Jones and makes for good ratings for their radio and TV shows. I think many of the so called experts are undervaluing what Dallas got in return. Yes I think the Packers should get great reviews for getting a player like Parsons but the Cowboys got a whole lot in return IMO. In addition to the 2 first round draft picks, the DT isn't just a throw in player. He made 3 pro bowls and fills one of the Cowboys weaknesses. I guess time will tell.
I'm also a bit surprised that the Packers jumped the Lions as betting favorites in their division. Seems like a classic spur of the moment overreaction. I'd still bet on the Lions winning that division as long as they have Josh Allen.
Josh Allen? That’s a fast credibility killer.

Yep. It was all for attention. The whole "sleeping" on the sidelines during a preseason game. He loves attention. If he were a WR, he would be labeled a locker room cancer and prima donna . Imagine if TO had in-season podcast and pulled these stunts. We'd never hear the end.
