Don't be silly. The addition of the jumbotron didn't spark UT's demise in 99. It was the cancellation of Melrose Place.

I also blame the trend toward reducing seating capacity at Neyland. As the capacity went up, so did our football fortunes. As soon as we started downsizing so did the win totals. Look at Bama right now.... Bryant Denny is growing every year in seating capacity and you see how it has paid off in the win column....

Just Put another one in the other endzone
And it will reverse the curse. And by the way the only seats that don't get filled are the ones that can't see it so it would pay for it's self during the down years

Take it down since its underutilized. Nothing worse than having that giant HD jumbotron and half the picture being a Food City ad. Its like having a 60 in tv and watching football in the PIP.

They took all the Vols and put 'em in the Neyland Museum; and they charged all the people an arm and a leg just to see 'em. :pilot:
