Anyone here every had (or heard of) piri-piri chicken? Sometimes spelled peri-peri. It's an African-Portuguese spice blend that has somehow also migrated into Indian cooking. I picked up a can of the spices yesterday, and they smell amazing, but other than just doing a rub, I don't know where to go from here. All the online recipes I've found are calling for a marinade, and I'm not sure I want to go that route.

It worked!!

In fact, there’s a bit of heat, but mainly it’s a ton of flavor. Those with tougher taste buds than mine could definitely start with this tinned blend and add more fire.

I’m going to start using this on roasted vegetables too.
