It's ridiculous. Have no idea what they were thinking. It's a nice skillet other than that, but unfortunately it's a deal breaker with me.

If I did that everytime I used my cast iron I wouldn't use it anymore. I just wipe mine out while it's still a little warm with paper towel and I'm done with it.

I'm going to bring them to work and run them through grit blast. We have some acid and Turco clean here too. A shot of degreaser and some EDM oil and it should be good to go.
