The Culinary Arts Thread

Talked to a guy that grows super hot peppers and he told me a good place to get seeds and that I should get a couple from them and try the seeds from 3 different places and test germinating several different ways to see which works the best.

Lulz. So I got 3 more types. Hope these do the best because they're the cheapest, lower free shipping minimum and larger selection.

I'm planting 2 each and 3 each then saving the rest. I've been told they'll be good for at least 2 years dry and cool. So I'll have them for next year.

This is one is called Trinidad Viper Brown. It's equal to a habanero on the heat scale.

Got a pack of duds from them a couple of years ago. I called and told them and they sent me two free packs. It was these:

Filius Blue Pepper

Really anxious to try them again. I don't know anyone who has ever heard of them or eaten them, so I am curious.

They sent me free replacement seeds too. They were really nice, I just decided to try others.

Those are cool. I think I saw some of those in yellow at another place, but I love the purple. Ill make a note to get some of them later.
