The Culinary Arts Thread

Its interesting that Pizza Hut and many others will have a dish called "Mac and Cheese...." but not use Macaroni. I used to think it was to appeal to the kids, but wouldn't kids get upset when it comes out with something they're not used to?

Anyway, I'd try that, I love Rotini, not that it would make any difference on a pizza.

I don't care what pasta is used with "mac" and cheese. Some restaurants serve it with penne, some with capatavi, etc. I more so care about the cheese - flavor and consistency.

If its served with penne or something other than Macaroni, its not Mac and cheese. Duh.

That'd be like ordering the Fettuccini Alfredo and getting Tagliarelli
Or Linguine and Clam sauce on Capelli d'angelo.
