No, we can't talk at all

Lulz..

What kind is yours?
Just asked my wife. She said her mom got it black Friday around that price, normal$60, but got for $40. It's insignia brand she said. Got from Walmart, but works good.

My Faberware one was about $65ish I think? Not fancy, but worked great.
How much surface area is in yours?

I can cram a whole chicken in mine, but for flat stuff (like boneless chicken breasts) I run out of surface area PDQ.

And do you use parchment paper?

ETA: Oh, I can sort of see from the pics from the Walmart link.

I was looking at that chart and my curiosity got to flowing again and I thought I might try an inexpensive one just to satisfy my interest. But like all the other times, I start reading about them and just lose interest. I'm just too old school and stubborn. Lulz. Chupa says its a bitter sweet quality.

I think the only time I used parchment was when I need to pick it up after it's cooked (like a pita bread pizza).

Funny parchment paper story. We made something one night wrapped in parchment, and hubby didn't fold his down good enough. It opened up and the paper touched the heating element and burned. lol So be mindful of that.

For me, it's a nice convenience to have. My oven heats my kitchen and it's awful! I can use an air fryer like a little mini oven and it does great! For just the two of us, it's perfect.

I think the word "fryer" is kind of misleading. jmo

Yeah, I’ve been working on getting the “fryer” part out of my head and replacing it with “air cooker” or some such.
