The Culinary Arts Thread

I finally got a chance to put the Louisiana Smoker back together after the grease fire. I called the factory and told them what happened and the error code I was getting after the fire. The factory tech tells me it is probably the main chamber temperature probe. He asks for my serial number. He cant find where I registered it. I know I did because that is the first thing I always do when I buy something. He said they performed maintenance on their system and my have lost my info. I give him my model and serial number. He asks when I bought the unit. I told him I wasn't sure but it was about a year ago. He says he will activate the warranty as of this date. Then he says he will overnight me a new probe at no charge. I haven't seen customer service like that in a long long time. I am off work on New Years Eve. I'm going to smoke something and I'll post some pics.

I had genealogy done several years ago. Of all the branches and limbs on my tree there wasn't a stinking skunk hanging in it anywhere. So there is that for me to be thankful for. lulz
Ngaf about this or you avatar so you don't have to change it every day. You should have just left it as it was and not worried about what we thought. Too late now, but you might want to teach your kids, use this as a teachable moment that might benefit them. Jmo.
