there is a Greek guy I buy Gyros from and they are the best I've had. Is that lamb and beef good for you?Love venison, elk is the best I've ever eaten. Quail is a favorite and pheasant. I ate squirrel and dove when I was younger but not a fan of either now. Love me some duck. Frog legs. Never was a fan of rabbit. Bear was good but really tough. Caribou was close to elk.
My dad has use to go to Alaska and Canada on hunts, tgsts how I've had some of those.
Elk is awesome.
Why are you asking this? I mean, its actually above my pay grade. Ask your Greek guy what the meat he uses for his gyros is. If its authentic Greek it probably doesn't have any lamb in it, its beef/pork/chicken. If its "American" its actually mutton. Not being a smart Aleck but I'm not a doctor or nutritionist. Its not bad for you, in moderation.I am curious what the rack of lamb is made of it don't seem fat I have heard it has beef but not sure. Is it better than hamburger meet or chicken?
I asked him he said they were good for you he said that alot of people was getting the greek salad with the meet on it for a diet but I like asking other people's opinion. I thought a traditional gryo was lamb with beef ?Why are you asking this? I mean, its actually above my pay grade. Ask your Greek guy what the meat he uses for his gyros is. I don't know what topside is going in about. Ribs may be the only good part to him, but not the only good part.

and here I thought gyro was goat meatI have no idea why he's telling you that except to sell you on buying more. Lamb is supposedly better for us than beef because its grass fed and most of our beef isn't, but I'm not even sure how much lamb is in your gyro meat, if at all, and wouldn't think it would be enough to make it "good for you". Lulz. Idk.
