The Culinary Arts Thread

Regrets for me are journey, van Halen before sammy, missing triumph when I had tickets. Tom petty, and pink floyd in the 90s(?)

Saw DLR VH at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville. Dave on stage says "I love these Nashville women, before the show they were screaming and yelling my name, beating on the door begging...I finally let them out".

Saw Loverboy open for Journey at the Municipal Auditorium. Great show.

Saw Bon Scott AC/DC and it was the worst concert I ever saw, and stayed until the end. It was just too loud and no bass.

Mal, it was '68 or '69, double bill, The Ike and Tina Turner Review with Sly and The Family Stone near Lake Spivey. Some friends and I were on the property next door. We could see the stage from over the fence to the left. We could hear perfectly. Sly was so high, he couldn't go on. The Family Stone jammed for 40 minutes, and he never appeared.

Kate Bush was the first true performance artist of the rock era. She was and is wholly original. In the '70s, I wanted to see her live show and become her lover (at least for a long lurid week or so).
