The Culinary Arts Thread

@Behr I got a little behind on the Rookie because of our trip. I'm at the point officer Chen got kidnapped. It's got me pretty tore up with intense for a tv show 🤣

Lol. I know.

I just started True Detective with Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey. I'm not digging it at the moment, but I'm gonna give a couple of episodes.
I seen the talk about the show "the boys". I like the idea of it, not sure how it'll be though, may give it a shot. I watched a movie called bright burn, kinda if superman was a bad guy movie. I enjoyed it.

I decided against it. Sounded pretty rough.

I'm trying to decide if I want to try LotR again.

I thought about looking into some of the Amazon originals. Reacher was enjoyable, and thought some of the others may be good. Nothing in particular, just whatever catches my eyes.

If you’re look at Amazon originals, check out the Harry Bosch series. We were hooked on the original books, and unlike many, the TV version is faithful, other than moving the main character’s history up 30 years or so (from Vietnam to Desert Storm.) It’s way more than a this-happened-then-that-happened; lots of character development and internal struggles.

Also, each episode (and book) builds on previous ones, so be sure to watch/read in order.

Thanks for the recommendation
