Our midnight chow was typically leftovers or you could get eggs made on the spot. Guess what I typically got? (Fwiw, I missed most morning breakfasts because I was either on a ring route or hooking up with load masters in the middle of the night to send stuff out for me but morning “eggs” were usually the in the carton kind). However, one night… oh that one night. They made pancakes fresh as you ordered them (shaddup @Behr no one cares about your bad take on pancakes). They were probably average tasting at best in real life, but that random night they were absolutely incredible! I think I smiled that whole helicopter ride afterward.Hail no. Well, not on deployment. Lol However, my first base it was a standard after a night at the NCO Club... which was every night... til I met HBPW.![]()
