The crowd was really bad today...

I agree...It was a very very dead crowd today, i've never seen that stadium so dead and i've had season tickets since 04, i've seen more life in a couple of spring games.

That because there was more competition in those spring games...quit being debbie downers good lord

I was there it was bare and getting barer as the quarters went on. I bet we started with 1-4 seats empty. I wasn't shocked but a little surprised. I don't know the attendance numbers because it was so bad they didn't announce them during the game, lol

Yes I think they did. It was announced as 88,000+

There really weren't many raise hell moments. The D took them out on many drives. On the few they got close the crowd small as it was fired up.

You're telling me that people are more proud to cheer for a team who doesn't lose to its biggest rivals every year? No way!

If you were there today mock on if you weren't I'd leave it alone. I say that not specifically to you but anyone that would whine or reflect on crowds they are not a part of.
Seems pretty silly to me when people comment on attendance or crowd noise from their lazy boy. Not that you are or were.

Agreed and the crowd did get into the 4 or so plays where it mattered. Otherwise it was an offensive juggernaut that called for low noise. Lastly and most importantly I was glad to see people finally figure out you do the wave when we are on D. Yes the wave is older than dirt but we were repeatedly doing it while on offense which to me is silly.

There were a ton of empty seats and the people that were there barely got off their ass and made noise. I know its Buffalo but still that was embarrassing. ALSO SHOUT OUT TO DEVRIN YOUNG!!!

Fall Break for the students,tv game and bad opponant not to mention the economy! Those are the games that are the most fun to attend, crowd will be better next week!

Thought the crowd was smallish and sitting on their hands yesterday, imagine what it will be like in 2012 for Akron, Ga State and Troy. Yep, more games for CSS and their non HD broadcast, dayum!!

At least watching Florida and Muschamp have it handed to them last night by Bama was fun.

Fall Break. No students on campus. Crappy opponent. Buffalo should've been our PPV game not Montana.

I hate scheduling these crappy teams. We learn nothing about how good our team is

But it's opportunity for the coaches to use other players and it not affect the outcome of the game. They do serve a purpose, whether fans enjoy the luxury of it or not.

Agree. DD and co. are trying to get much needed experience for this young team by way of cupcakes. Buffalo also helped us to essentially have 2 bye weeks to prepare for GA. If we win against GA it's genius. If we lose not so much.

Good point, Driveby! I went, froze my butt off but I cheered and clapped and gave the Rocky Top "Woo!". Considering the fall break, the weather and well, just everything going on with our guys, it was probably a bigger crowd than most teams would have drawn.

Two points and 2 words.

Point 1 - No woo in Rocky Top.

Point 2 and 2 words: North Carolina.

$40 is a lot of money to some people. And what about a game vs. Buffalo qualified is as a large event? (I'll refrain from the trite usage of the Lord's name for added emphasis because my social maturity level exceeds that of a 12 year old.)

$40 is not even a meal out nowadays unless you consider Krystal haute cusine. I thought he was referring to my lawn guy Jesus (hey zeus):eek:lol:

What does the UNC game have to do with yesterdays home attendance?
