I'm a student a UT and didn't go to very many games before I got here. I have heard many of you say the crowd noice over the past few years has decresed dramatically. I just want to know from you that have been to many games if the crowd noice has started to come back. It seems pretty loud in the stadium like the late 90as early 2000s. Just wanted to know what all if the crowd noice is coming back and if we still have the fans that sit on their hands the whole game.

That's good to hear. We need that excitement back.
That being said, I tried to pass it off as a typo in the title, until it was spelled the same way, 3 more times in the post. You're a current student at UT you say?
Apologies if this post sounded mean, just I mean...

Noise, Noise, Noise

Not Noice

How can someone be a college student and unable to spell a simple word such as noise?

Probably spells it "loose" instead of lose too. Or "your" instead of you're. Sad to say alot of grammatical errors with college students these days.....at any college.

Am I the only one that also noticed "decresed" is also spelled incorrectly? I thought UTK had raised academic standards and actually turns folks away...maybe not.

I don't think noice was ever a problem in Neyland Stadium :p

Just giving you hell. Kiffin has definitely raised the noise at home games. The fans absolutely loved the black jerseys when they came out. That was a great way to get the crowd pumped.

Spelling gaffs aside, there should be more red marks on this offering than a kid with the measles. UT student? Don't think I would have thrown that in. That said, KNS IS looking for an editor. :)

Not quite. They are alternate spellings. "Defence" and "offence" are the preferred British forms. "Defense" and "offense" are used in America in almost every context, sporting or legal.

Not to mention "their, there, they're" and "to, too". Our public schools must not teach English any more.
