Beers were plentiful in jeff Gordon terrace, never waited more than a couple minutes. Water however sold out - so I stuck with beer, was surprised to buy my last one a few minutes into the fourth, figured the 5-0 would have shut it down sooner.
My section the lines weren't too long. Mainly because they ran out of most of their products and everyone went elsewhere... And this was in the first quarter. All they had left was Budweiser and it wasn't even getting into the ice before they were selling it. Just taking it right out of the cases
I don't drink but I don't know why anyone would wait in line for beer when They bring them to you they were a tent in the kulwicki sec. that ran out of every thing by halftime I wanted a tea I finally got a water my voice was shot after the second quarter
How were the concession lines and did they sell out of beer? I read somewhere they brought in 545,000 cans of beer. That may account for some of the drunk fans on both sides :yes::yes:
If it is anything like the Bristol races they were probably fundraising and had 0 training. We would do this every year in HS to raise money for athletic teams.
A friend I was with left at start of 2nd qtr & got back in the middle of 1/2 time & they were out of half of the stuff that he went to get. No way would I have missed that much of the game to stand in line for a Coke or a hotdog especially after I paid $135 for the ticket. We were in The Richard Petty Terrace. They ran out of water & most food. the Arby's near there just closed because they didn't have anything! That was the one sorry thing that Bristol did. Other than that I'm still just amazed at how much fun this weekend was
