Weird article, that's for sure.
BYU will be the most physical team we see all year...Strength of their team is up front on offense and defense...My son is on staff at MTSU and said that before and after the games, BYU folks were the nicest that MTSU players and coaches had ever encountered - but the Cougars just beat the hell out of them on every play...They will not be in awe of Neyland or the crowd...The MTSU black players - mostly from GA and AL -said they had never seen white guys that fierce...Vegas HAS the game a close one (UT by 4)...I will happily take that.

Tough, but they will NOT be the most physical team UT sees this year.

Tennessee Football: BYU fans are asking for something they don't want

The author mentions BYU fans “starting something” on our first game with beer sales a couple times in this article. It comes across a little aggressive but I’m not familiar with BYU football or it’s fanbase.

“If BYU fans come into Neyland tempting Tennessee fans, then I’m going to guess their experience isn’t going to be great either.”

“BYU has another thing coming for [to] them, and if their fans come into Neyland trying to come after Tennessee fans, it’s not going to be good.”

So are a majority of BYU fans a bunch of drunk frat boys or good Mormons boys like in Orgasmo? I need my expectations set right before this game.

Oklahoma? The team that's never beaten BYU (0-2)? That Oklahoma?

Yep the same ones that went to the playoffs that year. They weren't as ready for the crowd as they thought they'd be.

BTW I'm not here to defend Oklahoma football but I don't think you'd really want to compare how BYU stacks up to Oklahoma football historically. It wouldn't end well for you.

Oh, I know. I'm just joking around. BYU fans have a special level of disdain for Oklahoma ever since our national championship year in '84 with all the crap Barry Switzer said about the quality of our team. Outside of beating Yewtah, crushing OU in 1994 and ruining their Sam Bradford led 2009 season are favorites among Cougar faithful.

It is no secret that the majority of BYU fans are LDS. LDS members for the most part, do not partake in any mind-altering substances. BYU fans are a passionate bunch and do know football though. Most cougar fans in attendance will most likely be typical sober moms and dads with their kids.
Which is a major improvement over most every opposing SEC fan base that crawls into Neyland and stinks the place up
