The Continue To Pile On Nico Thread

True, but he's probably a 1 done type for next season regardless and whatever teams might be interested would likely understand that up front. He'll try and improve his draft stock enough to get him drafted somewhere. But his 1st round aspirations have all but disappeared.
Agreed. Knowing it was what he tried to do that tanked his stock. His skill development was on schedule for a R-So in his SEC debut season. No one expected a miracle worker. His antics and pajama bottom persona did him in. His serious lack of work ethics were exposed.

Side bar:
Saw a clip on one of Saban's/Bama's top defensive players. Darius something. Permament Captian. Senior season. Huge game coming up. Overslept. Late to a meeting. Something you didn't do with Saban. Called a few people to see what to do. They told him to slip in and they'd figure out how to deal with it. Whole week passed and Saban hadn't spoke to him. They were loading plane on Friday to fly out for game, and Saban pulled him to side and told him he was late for the meeting and would only serve as a cheerleader from the sideline for that game. Would not play. Not because he made a mistake, but because he didn't come to him and look him in the eye and take ownership.

Moral of story is the fashion in which CJH let Nico walk I hope is an indication of the level of commitment and dedication CJH is trying to develop that was Saban's success for so long. Cause Nico doesn't have that factor yet, nor understands it. And I'd wager that if Saban ever fancied a thought to recruit Nico, that ended when he saw him in PJ's on the field.
