The Continue To Pile On Nico Thread

Everyone dogged me on my criticism of him all last season but I never liked him for 2 reasons 1.. he and his dad felt like they were above the team..2 ..I didn't see this top QB like he looked in highschool, overthrows of wide open guys multiple timesšŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø unless things change for the Bruins he'll be a big bust and he has his own family to thank for the mess he's in

I’m glad he’s gone, but I can’t dump on him too much without feeling bad. He’s a human being and he’s young. He’s been indoctrinated with constant praise and pats on the back and butt slaps that he’s gonna be taking in millions by the fist fulls. Had he stayed here, I kinda think he would’ve lost the starting job soon anyway, but Heupel is very good to his players. Coach really takes care of his players and he may have sent Nico on a better path anyway. Nico’s media coverage is about to end and that will be that and it’s sad. We all hated Tebow back then, but I really like the guy now and the reason he was good at football then and is good at life is because he was raised right. Nico just didn’t have that.

Glad he is gone, but the fact that Tennessee coddled this experimental project into a third year at the $2 million + rate is concerning, are there other Nico's hidden in our roster that are impairing success in those big games that matterthe most?
