The Continue To Pile On Nico Thread

When I see how our offense looks with Aguilar vs what we saw with Nico last year, I have to wonder what our offense look like this year if Nico had stayed? Not saying UCLA is ripe with offensive talent, but having a qb like Nico really hamstrings what talent you do have around him. He's not going to make anyone on that offense better, and he's certainly no leader. I'm going to enjoy the fresh air surrounding this years Vol squad regardless of the record. It's like flying in storm clouds then you elevated above them and things are calm and clear. You take a deep breath and are just glad you decided to pull up on that stick and remove yourself from the muck and mire.
Who are you and what have you done with @CAVPUT ?

It's not even worth a lot of discussion anymore. It was funny last week, but I wish the kid the best.

But to be a fly on the wall when his dad is being honest about the current events would be something.

Anyone else know nico sucked by the 3rd time he started including the first year? Always got 20 replies saying I was an idiot. He had an injury and i said i hope he gets better and love every player, people worried about it, said season over, i said we cant get a worse qb, 40 deplies on that one

VN has 0 foresight. Was about the only Nico hater early on. Always said here "he is equal to JG but JG has excuses" "100 replies" if I had no life id pull it all up and expose 90% of you guys

I don’t specifically remember your posts, but everyone who posted any Nico critiques was attacked with “he’s just a freshman” ignoring that he enrolled midterm then red shifted the next season. I’m sure a lot of the ultimate Nico defenders are now singing a different tune. JMO

The reciprocal episode has Joey considering dropping football to become a firefighter but working his way up through every level of the game until becoming an SEC starter (and hopefully playoff quarterback)
I thought something along the lines of this.

Nico has had everything given to him to his credit. He has never really had adversity in his college career. Even him being here would be a 10 win / CFP playoff appearance on auto pilot. I think it would have been likely he would have improved with another offseason with Heupel. We have to believe that because Heupel has proven his qualifications in QB development.

However, I don't think Nico ever got put in a position to be hungry. Meanwhile Joey Swaguilar was at App State and thinking of being a fire fighter. He just seems like someone who isn't going to risk or screw up his opportunity.

This is why I think the days of 5 star QB recruits being the hot commodity are a thing of the past. They never really have faced adversity and it is easy to go out in the portal and get someone who has experience and has developed some.

This is where I think Heupel could really get on a crazy run.

We have a quarterback here now who has done very well. Why must all you idiots rave over how bad Nico has looked.Support who is here and wearing the orange and white and let Nico disapppear into the past.We have georgeaa this week and I would love to see us put a red clay hound ass -whipping on them dawgs. We need more on this week than last season.
who the hell is georgeaa?

I don’t care all that much other than it’s given me a good chuckle when I’ve flipped over.

I just want to know if Joel Klatt has opened his mouth lately?
