he was okay at miss state, i would consider him like slightly better than stoops at kentucky but probably worse then houston nutt

houston nutt did a better job at arkansas and probably ole miss outside of that last season, still wouldnt call either one very good hcs

I was responding to a post about Mullen and his tenure at Miss St.

But while you are at it, Nutt was overall a solid coach for the Hogs. They had some good years, but also some lackluster ones. Probably the ceiling there, too

Now that the dust has settled it's actually pretty sad that a father would do his son that way. I hold resentment toward Big Nick for attempting to strong arm us, Nico--not so much anymore. In fact, they both did us a huge favor because I think that we can all agree that Joey is a huge upgrade. This is the first we've seen a true Heupel offense since 2022.

Unfortunately, there are "fathers" and "mothers" that do much worse things to their kids.

Oh 100%. But looking back as my own sons come of age and seeing how they come to me for advice on the important stuff it's kinda shameful that a father would do something like that.

Guess Mullens decided to go away from what was working. I knew Nico would pull it and run
