I remember debating making another drink or going to bed. I'm glad the 2nd wind kicked in and I watched the end of that game.

I still refer to it as the Sal Sunseri Tribute Game.

I've been a dyed-in-the-wool fan much longer than the majority of people on VN have been alive, and I've never seen anything that compares to that comeback...I lay on the bed watching it and not believing it was actually happening..My wife was in another room watching and she had turned it off at about the point where we "had no chance" thinking it was over...I walked in after we won and yelled, "Have you ever seen anything like that?" She said, "What do you mean?"
Great lesson here - Don't ever give up nor stop believing in the Big Orange...The wallpaper that I have on my computer is Dobbs scoring that last touchdown in regulation...Doesn't matter if this wasn't a national championship game, the look on Spurrier's ugly face was almost [just almost] as great as the victory....

I forgot about how they scored when we were missing a player on D and CBJ chewed out the GA.

We were destroying them early on but Butch decided to go into "prevent mode" before halftime. Lol. We took a knee instead of trying to score on our last possession of the half.
Next thing you know we're losing a game we had been totally dominating and needed a miracle to end up winning.
At least Butch learned his lesson last year...oh wait

Amen. It seemed a lot colder when we were losing though. I hate cold weather. After we got down by 14 that late in the game, I came close to packing it up. However, something kept telling me to stay. So glad I did. Unbelievable comeback!

I wonder if the guy Butch was yelling at is still around,
Or if he even came back to Tennessee after that ass-chewing!

Watching that game really makes me miss Correy Maggitt too!

Should we have gotten the ball on the fumbled kickoff? I can't remember it being discussed much since we won. But it could've (obviously) made a major change in the game had we not won
