Just saw on ESPN that a movie has been made about the first African-American starting QB in college football: our very own Condredge Holloway.

It is being produced by Kenny Chesney and is also an ESPN movie production.

This is great exposure. Thoughts?

I saw it too. I can't wait to watch it. I wasn't born when he played so I'm interested in watching him play and hear his story...cool that Kenny is involved with it too.

Pretty nice of Chesney to produce this seeing he is a Alabama and Florida fan.

Could be wrong, but I think we're allowed to say black now.. :)

Whoa whoa whoaaa !!!! Don't derail the "love train" with your rascism !!! We don't need anyone coming on here and starting any controversial issues......

I kid of course, but only slightly, someone will undoubtedly use that to further a point.

I can't wait to see it. CH was one of the most exciting football players to have ever worn the orange and white. When he had the ball, we had a chance to score--and he handled it every offensive play. He was what Michael Vick wants to be (possibly a little stretch, but work with me). :hi:

It should be great for the Vols.

Thanks, I have heard mention of it. Even though KC and ESPN are involved, I'll watch it anyway. Condredge was a freakin' warrior. He was the comeback kid leading the original Heart Attack Vols. Always one of my favorites.

When is that airing and is it a 30 for 30 special? Saw the commercial but forgot the date and time. Kenny Chesney produced and directed it. Didn't know he was the 1st black QB in the SEC either! Learn something new everyday huh?

They didn't show it as a 30 for 30, so i think it's an independent special. Forgot the date, end of this month, though.

I doubt he'd have done a song about John Ward if he wasn't all Vol... Can't wait to see the movie!
