The Coker situation

Can anyone tell me what the situation regarding Coker? Will he play this year or not?

He will probably play this year, but a lot of that is up to him. I don't know the details and don't care to speculate. The bottom line is that he hasn't really had his act together in a while and the coaches are probably giving him one last chance. If Mike Hamilton agrees that he deserves another chance, he'll be back this year.

Who knows. That is still up in the air. Apparently, he wasnt' going to some rehab sessions or something like that. I believe that we will be fine either with or without him though, as long as Foster can step up, which I believe he will. And as long as he can hold on to the ball.

Don't forget Hardesty. This will be his breakout year. Creer and Vereen will get some good touches too.

The rehab program he's in usually lasts about 4 weeks or so, so he's got time to be back before Florida anyways. If he's dedicated like he says he is and really shows improvement, he'll be back. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see him in Gainesville.

I don't care whether or not he ever plays another game for the Vols. You can be certain plans are being made as though he won't be back. He is injury prone anyway. No way he can play a complete season without getting hurt. He stayed hurt his whole hs career. I would just as soon see him not come back. It will mean Creer will get more touches and he is something special. I don't count much on Hardesty either. He has been hurt the whole time he has been at UT. We are all going to see how good Foster really can be this year.

If you don't count much on Hardesty then you best hope Coker comes back because Foster hasn't shown he can stay healthy an entire season either.
