Butch won't be fired after this year. However, he better make some major changes on his staff. Debord, Mahoney, and Azzani definitely need to go. If Butch allows Debord back for next year, that will effectively end his coaching career at Tennessee.

Dude this is Butch's offense. DeBord was hired to call plays in Butch's scheme. Plain and simple.

Add hire a real S/C coach and a QB coach -- also fire the DBs coach

Could it be that Butch actually tried to get someone other then Debord but any decent hire could see where this train was heading as it seems that Shoop is now realizing now.

Exactly, which is why he needs to bring in an actual OC and let him do his job. If Butch is stubborn enough to keep him next year he's finished.

All of the above.
Butch needs to draw that conclusion and bring in some new blood. The search must begin as soon as possible in order to secure someone that will bring some excitement to our Offense. I've held hope for 4 years that this offense was boring because of the limitation of the offensive line, now I know for sure its entirely scheme. 4 years of bad QB play. 4years of bad OL play. 5* receivers leaving in the middle of the season. The bricks are fine its the mortar that binds it all together which is breaking down.

We have every reason to believe CBJ will make changes to the staff based on last year's move with Bjakian. I'm with OP on necessary characters getting walking papers. Adding QB coach and new S&C person would do wonders as well.

OC and OL Coach better go at least. Azzani is hard to blame when a QB skips a pass 3 yards short on a 5 yard hitch.

Tennessee either can't afford or chooses not to pay assistant coach's what other teams in the SEC do. Until that changes it doesn't matter who the head coach is.

Brian Kelly gets fired at ND and comes to be the OC/QB coach and we get a new OL coach and whatever else we need. Boom!!!

More than likely Butch just simply couldn't find an OC who was agreeable to running his scheme.

Which is the problem -- he's going to have to cede control of his scheme.

The new AD at the end of the season needs to sit Butch down and ask him for a plan for improvement. If Butch keeps things the same we need to go in a different direction because what he has is not working.

Problem is we will have to hire an OC or whatever in January or February while hart is still here till June. We will get one last dose of the idiot himself before he leaves with who ever Butch hires. Probably somebody he owes another favor to anyway.
