The O should be exciting for sure.
I was hoping he would name a DC this weekend, and he might still.

If it's not Steele as DC, I'd still keep him on staff as an analyst or something like that (because he's getting paid). If he doesn't want to do that, then he can break the contract. I'm not sure what those posts on the other forums about automatically owing him 900K are about. He was hired as a member of the defensive staff.

Steele has fielded some good defenses over the years, could do much worse for a DC.

Some people assume he’d be fired and Saturday down south wrote a hit piece that said we were paying him his whole contract for 2 weeks work because we’re stupid and USA Today repeated it. But the reality is after meeting with HypEL CKS is still employed and still recruiting. He’s also reported to have told AU potential transfers he’s staying at Tennessee.
We will see.
